So you want to install some LED lights at home, what do you need to make it work?

First, you will need to decide what type of LED strip: choose between a warm white LED strip or a color strip that also includes warm white (RGBW). If the LEDs are just for decoration, then standard quality might be sufficient for your needs (12 watts/meter). But if you want better and more uniform light coverage, then choose the premium strips (19 watts/meter).

Secondly, you will need a power supply, or an LED driver. Pay attention to the power requirements of the strip that you choose (watts/meter) and how long will be the strip that you are installing. This will determine if you have enough with 60W or if you need a 100W driver. If you will not be installing a wall dimmer, then you can go for a non dimming driver.

Finally, if you want to be able to control your LED strip wirelessly, you will need a controller. Our Casambi CBU-PWM4 will allow your LEDs to be controlled from the Casambi application. Add a Casambi Xpress switch to also control your installation with physical buttons.
